“We had Matty in for a favour for a friend... absolutely amazing night. It was just after lockdown so wasn’t sure what the turnout was gonna be but Matty entertained the crowds! Everyone was singing along... have been asked by many to get him back as soon as we are out of this COVID lockdown so we will certainly be booking again.”

“I heard about Matty through a friend. He played live for me on my birthday this summer at a private venue in Nottingham. It was the first time I had used a live signer and I must say I wasn’t disappointed, he exceeded my expectations, he arrived in good time to set up, his manor was very professional and pleasant, he interacted with my friends during the break in sets. And not to mention his voice and skills with the foot pedals were amazing. Would definitely have him back again and all for a very fair price too. Josh. ”

“I would rate Matty H very highly, both as a performer and an organised, dedicated and businesslike individual. I have had a close working relationship with Matty for more than three years, due to him hosting the Open Mic night at both The Fox and Crown and The Horse and Plough over the past three and a half years. Matty was pivotal in creating the success of the longstanding night at The Fox and Crown, and his skill as a performer also saw me book him for many other gigs over the years, including important events such as Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. I had seen countless musicians perform at The Fox and Crown, and yet when it sadly came to the closure of my pub, after Covid 19 damaged us beyond repair, there was only one obvious choice for our final night; our farewell party. That person was Matty H, and despite it being such a difficult night he managed to make it a really special occasion, with really suitable songs selected by him that both celebrated the memories and mourned the loss. I have booked Matty not just in a professional capacity, but also a personal one, for my wedding in 2019. Again, Matty fulfilled our every expectation, and set the mood perfectly for our guests. He took the stress completely out of the entertainment for the day, and was so friendly to all our guests too. I would not hesitate to work with Matty again.”
